Today we made some improvements to our scoop. We are going to have to change the whole design as it has proven completely useless. The scoop can’t pick up the ball from the ground and that deems it completely useless. We are going to make another one and I’m going to help with it because angel made this one and I’m not very proud of him. This is due ASAP and we are trying to finish it

Today 5/10 we started to build the piece for the racket ball challenge. Super testing is coming up so we might not be back here for a while. We are trying to find gears to place into the new claw so it picks up the racket ball. We are going to finish this today and get ready to be graded 2 weeks from now.

Today may 6 we got our grade back on track by finishing the tetrahedron challenge and getting some solid works done. We finished the autonomous for the tetrahedron as well. All we have left is solid works and the racket ball challenge 

  Today May 2, we worked on the autonomous coding for the tetrahedron and tried to get it done. We worked on getting the bot to place it on the tube and almost got it

Today we finally completed the tetrahedron challenge with an 125 percent. We also discovered our robot is too tall so we moved the claw lower on the base. We are going to begin working on autonomous and get that done as soon as possible.

Today Mr.Martin was absent again so we did what we could worked on solid works did our blog perfected the claw and practiced the tetrahedron challenge. We are ready for the challenge and believe we are extremely prepared

Week 11 has a series of priorities. We have to make and complete the tetrahedron as well as all our blogs and solid works. angel is taking care of solid works and i am going to practice for the tetrahedron. I also have to catch up in blogger 

At the end of week 10 we finished the claw and began doing tetrahedron test runs. the robot is hard to control but ultimately it gets the job done. Angel has been working on solid works but is easily distracted by his phone. he will try to finish solid works here or at home sometime this week. I have kept up with the blogs and have them all up to date. 

Today we finished the claw but we still have to build the tetrahedron. the claw is working better than ever and is tall enough. We have to get the solid works done and start running and improving our bots flaws.

Today we rebuilt our claw. the original claws height was not tall enough to get the tetrahedron on top of the pipe. Now the bot is tall enough and we should be ready for the challenge. The only thing left is to build the tetrahedron and begin our challenge.

Today we added a small piece to the axles of the base we also revised our claw and are gonna restart it. we finished the figure eight and are gonna get ready for the tetrahedral challenge. We still need to make our own tetrahedron.

Today was some what a fold. one of our motors stopped running unexpectedly. We researched it and got it to run again sort of. the claw modifications were done and it was mad longer but it is also harder to control. We are considering changing the base of the claw which means starting all over.

Today Monday April 1 we finished the mechanical part of the bot but we still need to do more modifications to it. The bot is running fine but it is hard to control and is to fats sometimes. we need to do the tetrahedron challenge as well as build our own tetrahedron. Angel works at burger king so he will steal the straws we need from there.

Today March 20th we have started on building the claw for the tetrahedron challenge. We would of liked to go with a 25 c-channel but because we are behind we had to use a 20. We have to get the solid works part of our robot in the break.

today March 18, the beginning of the week we finally finished the coding for the figure 8 challenge. we had to restart a couple of times but after finally deciding to lower the speed of the bot for the sake of our grade we got it done. we have written this code about 4 times.

Today March 14 we have almost finished the coding for the robots second lap around the figure 8. We built the claw again as we found a more effective way.

Today Monday march 6, we almost finished the figure 8 coding. We have figured out how to do one lap but the second one is still in the making. We also began to assemble the claw as much as we possibly could before putting it on the robot.

This end of the week we really needed to get the figure eight done so we spent all of class and some of study hall strictly programing. We finally completed it though and received a late grade but at least we finished.

Monday, March 3, we worked on programming the robot to run automatically. we are almost done with the figure eight we just need to make a few adjustments to the bots code. the bot is running well and we are caught up with our blogger. we received our grade from Mr. Martin and know we are missing Solidworks. Our goals for this week are to finish solid works and the robot programming.

Our end of of the week and beginning of the month was rather tragic. As you can see in one of the pictures our bearing flats were placed on the wrong side making the motors way to loose and causing a lot of shaking from the axles. After realizing this error we had to take apart most of the frame and put it back together. Fortunately Angel had a lot of free time and dedicated himself to rearranging the bot the whole day. The robot is running excellent now and is even running on autonomous. hopefully we can get the claw on it soon and start running some challenges.
