Until now we have finished the base of the bot on our solid works as well as in real life. We have brought over the V5 brain from Cad files on the vex robotics website. we have placed the wheels and gears on solid works as well as the motors. We used an interesting strategy when completing the solid works. We downloaded and uploaded the whole entire robot onto solid works then suppressing items we didn't want. Maybe we can find a more efficient strategy that will work better in the long run.

We had an excellent start to the week. Our solid works and blog was on time so we started building the robot. we finished the base and put the wheels and gears on it all in one day. we were very efficient and even got the robot to run. all the components are being placed together now and we want to start and finish the claw by the end of this week. 

Today Friday, February 22 we did our bots frame on Solidworks. It was a bit tricky as we are using the V5 and parts are hard to find. We ended up downloading the whole Claw-bot and making the pieces we didn't need invisible. We are not sure how effective this strategy will be in the future but Mr. Martin seems to have hope. We also began building the actual frame of our robot. We are almost done with the frame and building is quite enjoyable. The brain and battery firmware has been updated and the motors have been test run. The bot should be ready to roll by the time we finish building.

Today 2/18 we finally began to do some hands on stuff with the robot. We updated the batteries and the controllers firm wear as well as perfected our solid works a little more. The battery and brain connect easily and the solid works is a work of progress. We started some of the coding for the robots brain. Our goals for this week is to start and finish building the fram e of the bot.

Today Friday February, 15 we started on the approval process for our robots. We began to build the frame for our robot as well as we started organizing the work stations. We put everything in its place and placed everything we needed in the tool box. Class ended before Mr. Martin could approve us. hopefully next class we can start working on the robot.

 Today February 11, 2019 the beginning of the week we started on our solid works and think we might have done something that works. We built the frame and brought in the v5 brain from the vex website. we have also gotten used to the blog thing and can actually upload pictures now.

Today we tried to figure this Blogger thing out. I wouldn't recommend the website as it is unbelievably difficult to manage. Me and Angel might just have 3 brain cells that work but still...difficult. We barely got our blogs out and even then I don't think they were very good anyways. Hopefully with experience we get better at the blogger thing. Or fail i don't really know we haven't decided yet.

Today February  4, 2019 We started our robot adventure. All the teams finished presenting their powerpoints and now everyone has a better idea of what they need to be doing. We are going to start the frame of our robot on solid works once we figure out how to use this blogger thing. Mr. Martin explained due dates and when things out due this semester. We made note of that. Hopefully we complete our goals for this week.
